Who we are

We are McClure Eats; a Market Garden started by myself, my wife and our daughter in 2020. With our son and second daughter coming along within a few months of our first season’s peak, timing was impeccable.

We are a young farm family working hard to build our dream with three loves in mind: Family, Nature & Food.

We are growing with our farm and with it, the dynamic practices of planting/harvesting. We are constantly teaching our kids in the garden and learning from our own mistakes.

We do our best to work with nature versus combat it. Be it picking pests off plants instead of the use of pesticides to growing beneficial plants/flowers/herbs to help keep our garden growing stronger each year.

Our goal is to provide a quality harvest for our kids and the immediate community, and this is what propels us forward in an ever-changing world.

We hope to see you at the farm this season and as we always say don’t forget to EAT YOUR VEGETABLES!

Come and see what we have growing for you

We are McClure Eats, a local market garden passionate about growing fresh, seasonal produce. What we don’t sell fresh, we pickle or preserve. From our infamous Grandma’s Dill Pickles to small-batch fermented hot sauces, we capture the peak of flavor in every jar. If it’s ripe, we’re canning it — so you can enjoy the taste of the season all year long.

  • It all began with a love for the outdoors and a passion of cooking and food. Being a red seal chef by trade, the green thumb came as a second nature that lead to this dream.

  • Covid hit and we were stuck at home. If felt like the perfect time to start digging, literally.

Being first generation farmers, it isn’t easy building from the ground up, but we have done a lot since starting in 2021.

  • We grow as much variety of produce as we can.

We love trying new seeds/plants and we are proud to say that we are one of the only farms in the area to use 100% Canadian seed.
